When coming for a photo session, you'll need to be prepared, prepared to look your best!
On Costumes: When coming, casual wears and corporate wears should be among your clothing as well as lingerie and swim suit.
As much as possible avoid branded clothes or wears with very obvious logos. Glasses or spectacles may not be required except it is really necessary. Always consider the combination of your wears. Style and colour wise. If most shots are taken in a studio-like environment, as much as possible, clothes or costumes worn should contrast with the backdrop.
Skin: Though make-ups can effectively mask blemishes, it is advisable that one maintains a good skin. Be conscious of the body oils you use and above all what you eat. A smooth skin is a sure way to a successful modeling career. For a photo shoot, you ought to know when oils would enhance your picture and create the right impression and mood. Also, there are times when powders (brown or white) could help bring out the best in a photo.
Hair: As much as possible, a flexible hair style would do for a photo session, thus, one could have different looks for different shots in a single session. If possible ones natural hair would be perfect. Coming along with a wig or hat may also useful.
Postures: In all, your postures should show, as much as possible, your physical features. At all times, your facial features should be seen, either partially or wholly; that is, shots should be taken with you facing the camara directly or a good side view of you face shown.
As much as possible, come along with items you feel would naturally enhance your looks and appearance.
Don't expect that a photo session would be snappy and fast. It just may not. |
